The UFC Party's mission is "...to provide every student a loud voice in the LTU community." Every student organization deserves a chance to shine and have equal recognition. Equal recognition and exposure could be attained by having a "meet the orgs" week or just having an "organization spotlight." Students deserve to have an improved RFoC and campus dining experience. Better dining can be achieved by providing more dining choices (a subway perhaps) as well as an improved cafeteria. We will strive to make the atrium a destination place rather than a transition space by providing more functional options (lounge seating, pool tables, ping pong, more electrical outlets). We will fight for every students' rights to be heard. We will fight to change this campus the way the students of LTU want! | Our platform will be for the betterment of the student experience. Our goal will be to make improvements around campus that the student body has been complaining about for several years now. The following are the goals that we plan to achieve while in office: Our goal will be to have qualified tutors on staff longer hours in a variety of fields so that students can actually get the help they need to be successful in their classes. Our goal will be to bring in an outside source to provide food for the students. We will also work closely with the school to finally fix the problems with the current Rfoc establishment. Our goal will be to create more areas for students to study and work on projects. Our goal will be to extend the hours of the Library, have more study rooms and tables to do homework. Our goal will be to make the atrium more into a lounge area and provide more power outlets throughout the area. The atrium should be a place to hang out between classes. Our goal will be to provide students with 24 hour access to the buildings so they can study, do homework and work on projects. |
