Get Involved
SPAM is a completely student driven branch of the Office of Student Engagement. With that, students, possibly such as yourself, are needed who have leadership qualities and that want to help make the Lawrence Tech campus community an amazing experience for their fellow students.
SPAM is made up of 3 Executive Board and 14 staff members, each responsible for their own projects, but as a group plan and execute events and programs around campus. These positions are critical to the success of SPAM and are coveted by many students. Students must complete an application and interview process in order to be considered for these positions. Upon reviewing applications and having interviews the SPAM advisor(s) choose those to be hired into the SPAM Board.
Applications are traditionally due when students return from Winter Break (January) with interviews the following week. If positions are not filled or become available during the course of a semester applications will be accepted at that time.
